• Have adequate equipment, supplies, skills & knowledge for the whole journey
• Consider the impact of weather forecasts, park/track closures & fire dangers
• Can respond to emergencies & call for help at any point
• Are healthy and fit enough for this journey
If not, change plans and stay safe. It is okay to delay and ask people for help.

Getting There Transport options and directions

Start	On Scout Camp Road (900 m East of Burwood Road), Whitebridge. (-32.962699,151.7311811)

Directions	From Pacific Highway, Charlestown, head south along Ocean View Parade; After 800m, continue straight along Kenibea Avenue Kahibah. After another 150m, turn left on to Kahibah Road Kahibah. After another 300m, turn slight left on to Wallsend Street Kahibah. After another 100m, turn right on to Burwood Street Kahibah. After another 550m, continue straight along Burwood Road Kahibah. After another 650m, turn left on to Scout Camp Road Whitebridge. After another 1.4km, come to the trackhead on Scout Camp Road Whitebridge.

	Start (from, Whitebridge) by heading north-west along the Burwood Track. There is a parking area is at the start. There is the Glenrock Scout Camp, campsite at the start. There is a parking area here. Glenrock Scout Camp Glenrock Scout Camp, off Burwood road and within the Glenrock State Conservation Area is owned and operated by the Scouting Association of Australia. The scout camp is located by a beautiful lagoon and is close to the ocean. The scout camp is a great place to stop and relax, with self guided walks and nature trails available close by. At the scout camp there is a public telephone, locked toilets (available upon request), water and sheltered picnic tables. The scout camp has indoor accommodation available. The Overman's Cottage is a large simple cottage, with sleeping on mattress's on the floor and costs $80/day plus $8/person. Also available is the Mac Crumb Room, which is for adults only, has 8 bunks and has a self contained kitchen and toilet. The Mac Crumb Room costs $80/day plus $10/person. Camping is for Scouts only. Please contact the Hunter and Coastal Regional Office (02 4929 1760) for information and to make a booking. The on site resident is also available (02 49447303).
	After another 100m, (at the 3-way intersection, with & Burwood Track) continue straight, to follow the Burwood Track. After another 80m, cross the creek. After another 550m, pass a waterfall (70m on your right).
	Then almost immediately (at the 3-way intersection) continue straight, to stay on the Burwood Track. Then continue straight again after another 70m. After another 70m, (at the 3-way intersection, with Burwood Track & Yuelarbah Trail) continue straight, to follow the Yuelarbah Trail.
	Then almost immediately you will be at the turn-around point (to return to the start) at Flaggy Creek (waterway), Whitebridge.

  Glenrock mountain biking trails
  
  Dr Seuss (Seuss Land) Track, Glenrock SCA, will be closed from the 6th May for essential maintenance works. The works are expected to take 6 to 8 weeks, weather dependant.
